I hope this song doesn’t mean I’m an emo, but for whatever reason it just speaks to me. In some ways it reminds me of my breakup back in March…it also reminds me of the only other painful break up I went through 3-plus years ago. In particular, the line, “Maybe it’s best you leave me alone…I give the final blow.”

Both of those relationships ended when I couldn’t take the stress of my situation anymore. Trying to juggle two dreams, that of business success and stability and that of having a wife and family. On both occasions the stress got to me and in a moment of blind anger I lashed out and said words I shouldn’t have said…and it cost me. Perhaps one day I’ll learn my lesson. =P
