So a few months ago I befriended a young lady who put herself through school as a dancer. Although she now has a “real” career, she still manages the “office” at times and will occasionally throw down on stage. I find it amusing that I’ve always disliked strip clubs (made even more amusing by how much I do like women) and now I’ll stop in every couple of weeks to say “hi”, have some food (good), and just chat with my friend.

I had a buddy in the industry for about 20 years who always said about 1/2 your dancers are actually intelligent women who are making more money doing this than they would with a career and who may be going to school and 1/2 who are stupid bitches and/or cracked out.

Hanging out with my friend it is funny to hear her say, “That girl is working on her education degree, that girl is in law school, that girl is dumb as fuck, that girl is a stoner, etc.”

Just another in the long line of interesting friends I’ve made over the year and quite frankly with the exception of Crystal may be the smartest chick I’ve ever met and she has a great sense of humor to match. I find it interesting to watch her interact with customers and see the persona that takes over as opposed to when she is around friends.

Good times I say, good times!
