I was affected by Death at young age and feel that it played a strong influence in my development for a long time. Like most people, I’ve been close to dying a number of times in my life…from a medical mystery at the age of 5…to car wrecks. I’ve never been scared when I thought it *might* happen…it isn’t because I’m braver than others or feel I have some sort of delusions of immortality…long ago I accepted eventually it would happen, some way, some how.

I hope this isn’t depressing to anyone and I know I have a number of readers in the medical fields. However I found the following article to be very interesting. What we learn from dying.
