So yesterday was a bit of a nice break. The day started at noon when I did some kickboxing with Megan, Unfortunately from my time in various MA’s I’ve picked up some dirty tricks including blocking kicks and punches with your elbows. This is great for breaking people’s hands and feet but isn’t always a good thing when you are just training. Sure enough…Megan through a kick, I blocked it, and she couldn’t walk the rest of the day.

After the injury, Megan, Brian, and myself headed over to Josh’s for a UFC party. As usual, a great spread of food and the usual group of friends: DP, Leslie, BO, Annie, Dave (minus Kristen), Wes, and some others. Lots of yummy (but no exactly healthy) food all around.

After the fights, Sean, Dana, and Pop showed up for Sean’s bday. In a classic moment of being drunk, BO asked Sean what he thought about his favorite fighter getting whupped only to have Sean reply, “I haven’t seen the fight yet.”
