Had a nice, relaxing New Years evening. I did not go to  Orlando has previously planned and instead ended up at a house party…not to be confused with the Kid n Play movie. Good food and pool was the entertainment lined up for the countdown. Watched the amazing stunt attempts on ESPN by the Red Bull guys doing back flips in the truck and the guy who launched his motorcycle onto the Arc d Triumphe replica in Vegas. It was pretty gnarly and if you missed it, I’d try and find a replay online.

I did learn one new tradition. In Spain during the last 12 seconds of the new year, you are supposed to eat a grape each second (12 total). I never did learn why, I’ll have to Google it.
