Once again that time of year is upon us, I of course am talking about College Football Season aka Kevin does a fair imitation of being sociable. It took my about eight years to finally get into Gator football but now I’ve got a great group of friends and acquaintances who host parties at their homes each weekend and I have to admit…it’s a great time.

This year we started things off at Dave and Kristen’s. Of utmost importance is to realize that Dave is a HUGE University of Miami fan and generally watches his beloved Hurricane’s in another room as the rest of us take in the Gator game. Dave and Kristen are two people I instantly liked and over the Summer I happened to come across a big ass bean bag in UM colors. I’d been saving it for football season specifically for Dave. I’d been telling him for a little while that I had something for him and he had absolutely no idea…the bean bag is about as big as he is!

The game was a good time…everyone was intoxicated to some degree and Dave busted out a breathalyzer. As you can imagine, this only inspired those in attendance to drink more for the most part. The game was a bit of a sleeper as the Gators crushed an overwhelmed opponent but hey, first game of the season out of the way. I’d rather crush a team we should beat than choke like Michigan.

Later that night, I headed out to a get together with Megan, her brothers, and a couple other people I know. It was fun to hang out with the boys again and shenanigans were running rampant. Megan’s friend Annie pretended to kick me in the head in the pool and was a bit drunk. The end result was a knee to my nose and a little bit of blood…I’ve been hit enough to know when my nose is bleeding and Annie insisted it wasn’t…until I shoved some tissue paper up my nostrils to provide proof…ewwww.

Sunday was a good day…Cris and I celebrated two weeks of ass busting workouts with Stonewood. Amusingly enough, Cris caught me with an elbow in my nose on Sunday…the top of the nose this time. Not to make anyone feel bad, but Jesus my schnozz hurts today. I’d like to give a little shot out to Cris who has amazing legs and works them out all the time for biting the bullet and doing upper body workouts with me now. Thanks to her we are both improving our weak spots!

Monday? Celebrate? Hell no…I’m working. I hope I’ve got reason to celebrate at Christmas though!
