Ding Dong, The Phone Is Dead (Dawn Is Happy)
So after three years, my cheap (free) phone finally died. Quite frankly, it was a tragic and horrid death of complete and total dismemberment. Over the years I have dropped this phone on just about every type of surface, down stairs, and managed to get it soaking wet…yet it kept on ticking.
Last week, the beginning of the end took place when I dropped the phone and it landed on just the right (or wrong) angle and it cracked one of the supports for the clamshell flip. Due to the uneven nature of the phone now opening, this led to some rather important wires being cut on Sunday which led to complete and total phone failure.
So my dilemma of course was…”What new phone should I buy?”
I wanted an iPhone but want to wait for the 3G version. I didn’t want another contract so I thought it would be funny to be “hood” and buy one of those ghetto ass Boost Mobile Phones. Damn…Best Buy didn’t have them. I decided to settle for a Virgin Mobile phone which should last me until the Summer (and my iPhone).
Should you be someone who likes me, please email me, IM me, or myspace me your phone number. If you know about my blog, chances are you are someone whom I wish to talk to…even if I don’t always return your phone calls or messages.
RIP little Samsung
