So…Friday night saw me frequenting establishments that are far from my general nature to inhabit. However, I do have a small group of friends in Gainesville that I actually enjoy going out with from time to time. This is Andy’s fault.

Who is Andy? Andy is a fellow Mellow Mushroom regular, a client, a friend, and looks similar enough to me that people believe we are brothers. Oh, it’s also Andy’s fault that I met a great girl whom I dated briefly that just wasn’t meant to be at the time…maybe never. So…Andy’s Birthday = Kevin going out.

The night saw me for the first time in six years dust off the leather pants and slide them on. I joined up early with my friends Bonnie and Patrick. Soon we meandered over to “Shiny Shirt” Dan’s, local downtown legend in Gainesville, to meet up with assorted other party attendees.

The night began at Speakeasy and throughout the evening our motley band of merrimakers expanded and shrunk as we journeyed to and fro across the landscape of downtown Gainesville. Other stops included Market Street for some 80′s music action and concluded at Lillian’s. One intoxicated ex dropped safely off at home and I made the twenty minute drive back to Newberry.

Regarding the female ruminations…I believe I’ll save them for later. I’ve got a training at 12:30PM tomorrow followed by Gator Game action at Huffman’s. Depending upon how I feel, maybe I’ll write my first “relationship” post tomorrow…of course at this point in my life, I could write enough relationship posts to fill several books. I’d put Dr. Phil’s fat, condenscending ass to shame!
